When adults volunteer, all students benefit! There are many opportunities for parents and community members to get involved, and your help is always needed.

Art Appreciation volunteers help teach the kids about famous artists and complete a project inspired by that artist. This is done as a 20-30 min art lesson in the classroom once a month.

The University Interscholastic League (UIL) offers a variety of academic contests to challenge students academically, starting in 2nd grade. Students are coached by teachers after school before competing at the school level.
You can help the teacher coaches by providing sign ups for snacks and helping to organize the district meet!

WatchDOGS: Dads of Great Students. Our program helps provide positive male role models for the students. They provide an extra set of eyes and ears to enhance school security, reduce bullying and provide a greater sense of campus safety allowing students and teachers to focus on learning. Fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father-figures can volunteer to serve at least one day a year in a variety of school activities as assigned by the school principal or another administrator.
